Chris Bergeron's weekly press conferences will take place on Tuesdays. The first two will be attended by your's truly with every other thereafter being attended. Press conferences will always be posted here as soon as humanly possible. Please post any questions or requests you have for Coach Bergeron or the players on the forums or PM me. I can't guarantee your question will get asked but if it's something good I'll do my best.
We are now 6 days from the exhibition game against Wilfred-Laurier. Puck drop is scheduled for 4pm at the BGSU Ice Arena. Admision is free and the game will be covered by the Bowling Green Radio Sports Organization (BGRSO.org). An online audio feed will be available at BGSUFalcons.com. Please note that audio feeds will not be free this year.
In NHL news, former Falcon Jonathan Matsumoto was released from the Carolina Hurricanes training camp roster and has been assigned to AHL affiliate Charlotte. Matsumoto was traded to the Hurricanes from the Flyers during the 2010 NHL Draft. Matsumoto has yet to dress for an official NHL game. Other Falcons currently on training camp rosters include Kevin Bieksa (Vancouver), Derek Whitmore (Buffalo), Jonathan Sigalet (Columbus), and Dan Sexton (Anaheim). In other former Falcon news Todd Reirden was promoted from head coach of the Scranton/Wilks-Barre Penguins to an assistant coach under former Falcon Dan Bylsma's Pittsburgh Penguins.

Got our season tickets! Awesome pics on them. Very classy and well done!!! In the packet was information reminders about the upcoming events.
One to note:
SKATE WITH THE FALCONS!!
Saturday at 12:15, prior to the Football game
45 minute open skate followed by sit-down autograph session with the entire team
Also noted that the Face Off reception started at 7....I was told 5:30...so need to check on that!! I'll post when I find out!

I cannot wait to get to a game this season! The last two years I've only been able to make a couple but I am going to try very hard to make at least 3 or 4 depending on the schedule and whatnot. I am pumped to see the renovations that have been completed! GO FALCON HOCKEY!!!
