Women's Soccer starts MAC play...

BG played a very difficult non conf sked this season including matches against Cincinnati, WVU, Xavier, Minnesota and Michigan State. But the Falcons have won 2 of the last 3 (Cleve State and Indiana St) and open MAC play this weekend with a pair of matches against Buffalo and Kent State. It's a great chance to get off to a fast start in the MAC. BG is 2-6-1 so far but only 1-5-0 at home...need to win those home dates.

And BG responds with a 4-0 shutout of the Bulls! Alyssa Zuccaro had a hat trick with 3 goals. BG improves to 3-6-1 and, more importantly, gets off to a great start in MAC play.

Kent State will be in town Sunday...

BG then beat Kent State, 1-0. NICE! 2-0 in the MAC...BG at EMU Friday and hosts CMU Sunday.
