The way our offensive line is blocking I don't know if Schilz or Hurley would be too much better. Protection for the qb has been abysmal. Pankrantz is definitely not on the level of Schilz and Hurley obviously. Clawson must really want to save that redshirt.

I'm sick. When was the last time a BG kicker could make a simple straight on 40 yd field goal? Unbelievable. Feel bad for Wright but they that's a kick that should be made. I don't believe the ball was tipped or anything. Pretty demoralizing for the defense that did everything and then some to give the offense a chance to redeem themselves only to piss down leg opportunity after opportunity. Well this game settles it. The Hurley's RS needs to be yanked now if Schilz still can't go next week.

Are you crazy? Burn Hurley's redshirt for what? Maybe one win in a season where we'll be lucky to make it to .500? Schilz dressed and will be back either next week or the wek after. actually, I was going to ask if we had a back-up kicker. A missed XP, missed FG, terrible punts, and a kick-off that went nowhere and out-of-bounds. Terrible.

The defense did everything? Yes they gained some turnovers but my god they gave up over 400 yards again. I wonder why we were willing to settle for a 40 yard field for the win? We could have tired something other than up the middle three straight plays.

The D played a hell of a game. When the offense can't get a first down and turns the ball over they played great to only give up 28pts. I can't understand why we don't try to go after a decent kicker. If we could improve special teams we could have won this game. Blowing an XP is inexcusable.
