We pretty much all stunk it up this past week. BSU beating CMU was a big surprise to everyone.

Winner: Ball State. More talent here.

Temple at Northern Illinois
Winner: Temple. Temple is very good in close games. Should be a raucous crowd, though.

Cent. Michigan at Virginia Tech
Winner: VT. Could get ugly early.

Bowling Green at Ohio
Winner: BG. Hard telling without knowing who will be taking snaps, but I'll take BG on the road turning the season around.

Akron at Kent St.
Winner: Akron. Kent is a better team right now, but Akron always seems to have an edge in this rivalry. I'll call for Akron's first, maybe only, win.

Miami at Cincinnati
Winner: Cincinnati. UC is way better than their record. Things are starting to click for the Bearcats. I'll call for UC winning huge.

East. Michigan at Vanderbilt
Winner: Vandy. Not much of a game.

Toledo at (4) Boise St.
Winner: Boise. Will get ugly fast.

We're about halfway through ... remember, I'll come up with some prizes of some sort for the winners at the end. The race for most wins and best winning percentages are both pretty tight right now!

I went out on a limb and picked EMU last week..... BIG mistake!

W. Michigan at Ball St. 12:00 pm - Ball State showed some heart last week. Their winning ways will continue this week!
Temple at Northern Illinois 12:00 pm- NIU is the best team in the MAC. Game of the week here, which NIU will win, in a well played game.
Cent. Michigan at Virginia Tech 12:00 pm- Va. Tech is going to demoralize the Chips!
Bowling Green at Ohio 2:00 pm- I like BG's chances here. Ohio is a HUGE disappointment so far.
Akron at Kent St. 3:30 pm- and speaking of HUGE disappointments, both teams are thus far, but Kent should wear the Zippers out!
Miami at Cincinnati 7:00 pm- The Thugcats are going to whallop J.Crew U.
East. Michigan at Vanderbilt 7:00 pm- Vandy will win this laugher!
Toledo at (4) Boise St. 8:00 pm- Toledo came crashing back down to Earth last week. The Rockets stay grounded this week against Boise. The Broncos are going to annihilate Turdledo!

WMU @ Ball State - I have a feeling that Ball State will be a little over-confident after their win last week. WMU Wins.

Temple @ NIU - Temple continues their "See ya, MAC!" tour and destroys the Huskies by at least 20. Temple Wins.

CMU @ Virginia Tech - Way too much firepower for the Chips defense to handle. Maybe last year, but definitely not this year. Virginia Tech Wins.

Bowling Green @ Ohio - Big bounce-back for the Falcons. The boys are (and should be!!!) pizzed off and they want a win. They get it in Athens. BGSU Wins.

Akron @ Kent State - They say to throw the stats out the window for rivalry games, but Akron is awful. Kent State Wins. BIG!

Miami @ Cincinnati - The Bearcats aren't great but Miami is bad. Cincinnati Wins.

EMU @ Vanderbilt - This game will be over before it starts. Vandy Wins.

Toledo @ Boise State - Are you serious? Boise State Wins.

Ball St. - Solid win last week leads to a good performance this week.

NIU - This is probably a preview of the MAC Championship. I'll take the Huskies at home.

V. Tech - After James Madison they won't let these games slip by them.

OU - Our offense is struggling, and a tired D could help kick start the OU offense.

Kent St. - Losing to Akron would be like losing to a 3 year old at basketball.

Cincy - They have the better team, and should get the easy W.

Vandy - Not this week EMU.

Boise St. - I am hoping the hang 100 on the Sprockets.

W. Michigan at Ball St - Ball State - BSU isn't good, but WMU hasn't shown anything so far. Cardinals at home.
Temple at Northern Illinois - Northern Illinois - NIU is going to be amped up for this one, and in a close fight, get it done in Dekalb.
Cent. Michigan at Virginia Tech 12:00 pm - Virginia Tech - Still can't figure out CMU really. VT will win this one though.
Bowling Green at Ohio 2:00 pm - Bowling Green - Honestly, this one comes down to whether or not Schilz plays, I say he does, and BG wins.
Akron at Kent St. 3:30 pm - Kent State - Akron might be the worst team in I-A. Flashes big, winning the illustrious Wagon Wheel. (barf)
Miami at Cincinnati 7:00 pm - Cincinnati - Miami is an intriguing bunch, but they aren't good enough to beat Cincinnati.
East. Michigan at Vanderbilt 7:00 pm - Vanderbilt - Picking against EMU, like shooting fish in a barrel. Win.
Toledo at (4) Boise St. 8:00 pm - Boise State - Even if Toledo wears blue on the blue turf, it won't do them any good. Boise big.
