Don't stay at the Quality Inn, you're better off sleeping in Wafflehouse. It's cleaner there.

Seriously though, If you're looking for a hotel, the Holiday Inn across the Highway is the only one I've not heard horror stories about.. and I mean BAD horror stories. (In fact, I've heard good things about it.)

In BG
Hampton Inn
Holiday Inn Express

REMEMBER: It's Family Weekend at the University. Do you really think you're going to find a DECENT hotel room in BG at this late date for such a big weekend?

Outside of BG
Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons
Holiday Inn French Quarter (Perrysburg)

So comfort inn and Falcon Plaza are booked. Basically we were planning on going to the Basketball and football games and then going out that night. Is there another bar within walking distance of the bars?

Good idea. I've spent nights in bars before-pretty cheap and access to beer and stuff is good. There are several bars within walking distance of several other bars so you should be all right....

Even with family weekend I would be calling and checking throughout the week. I'm sure there will be hotel rooms open up. I for one cancelled our room at the Holiday Inn. I wouldn't expect with more than 7 or 8k next week, I think you'll be able to find a room.

Maybe you can sleep in someones tailgate camper? Of course you probably want to ask them first.

Try the Days Inn (used to be Buckeye Budget) over by Bob Evans. It is owned by the same person that owns the Hampton Inn and they have done some good things as far as remodeling. Rates are very reasonable too. We had no issues when we stayed there over the summer.

If you're referring to us, sorry, no camper at the remaining home games...As I said in other threads, no place nearby to dump after the games!

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
