I wonder how the Yankess are really feeling about the Rangers in the World Series? Besides losing to the Rangers this could have all been prevented. Let me explain.

The Rangers for the past several years have been in serious financial trouble. They had to file for bankruptcy and take stimulus money from MLB provided by luxury taxes. Hmmm. Been reported the Yankees provided 28 million dollars this year alone to keep the Rangers afloat. Talk about ironic.

And where in any other workplace could you be in rebab for alcohol and drug abuse and have misdemeanors and felonies and domestic violence and keep your job. Washington could easily been fired. Hamilton is lucky the league gave him a third chance.

I dislike the Yankees just as much as everyone else but find it very ironic on how this season has played out for the Rangers. Still don't understand on how the Rangers could acquire Cliff Lee when it was under MLB protection.

I don't really see anything ironic about the Rangers in the WS. Unlikely? yes but where's the irony?

Maybe ironic is the wrong word. But the Yankees paid for over 60% of the Rangers salaries this year due to the fact that the Rangers needed to accept stimulus money from MLB after they filed for bankruptcy and the Yankees put in 28 million dollars just to keep the Rangers playing ball.
