Punishment?

Post by HoopsFan »

So how bad is the coach going to come down on our 3 staggering players?

I'm guessing a pair of games each, but ya never know.

I'm thinking some 0-dark:30 wake-ups and a couple of miles up and down the hill (maybe even the steps at AA or the stadium).

I have a pretty reliable source...

This source told me that they have punishment partners if you want to call it that... so if one of them messes up, they both have to pay for it, and they have had extra workouts.

I like that style because instead of the whole team keeping you accountable, now they have one individual that can really get on them instead of the whole team which makes it more personal.

I think that would be much more affective than just punishing the whole team

LOL Remember they're not supposed to go "out" drinking or be in public if they imbibe. They're under 21, the magic age where you get responsible....or something like that.

Did I mention that I didn't think alcohol consumption wasn't a big deal? However the consequences of impaired driving or walking down the sidewalk as a drunk are, unless you think the world and all it's people won't harm you. We already know better than that when the start snatching girls on the street.

I knew a coach that used to make the rest of the team partake in the punishment while the offenders slept in. It only took one problem each season for the words RESPONSIBILITY and TEAM to take. Players made sure those having trouble getting to class were on time and present. They made sure that if someone was down at the bar drinking that they got home safely and before the coach was called.

Maybe. They also did some volunteer work at the Black Swamp Festival. Or, perhaps they just are friends.

Yeah I saw that documentary on wbgu as well. It was cool to see the Falcon ladies through the years. It was also funny seeing the girls working the phones lol.
