The only thing I can see wrong with it is that it should have a CRUSHED rocket in it's mouth!!! ;)

Keep an eye on BGSUFalcons.com for a bird tracker (maybe as early as tonight)! The picture I posted is from California where they're packing it up for its trip across the country. Scheduled to arrive here next week and be installed on the 16th... can't wait to see it atop its perch outside the Stroh!

It does look like it just threw up a blue jacket, but nowhere near midnight blue. Pretty nice- pales in comparison to the one that frequents my back yard but cool nevertheless.

All I can add is that Napoleon Dynamite would be impressed with those talons!

That is SOOOOOOOOOO FREAKIN COOL!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Sweet bird, those talons look like their about to tear into a red hawk, cardinal, bobcat, or perhaps snag a rocket!

According to the artist it's 23'... I'm guessing that's wing-tip to wing-tip.

Grant gave you the wingspan, and the bird will be perched atop about a 10-12 foot pedestal so it should easily reach 16-17 feet high when installed.

That is awesome! The pictures with it strapped on the flatbed give an idea how big it is. Incredible!
