Calvin Wiley showing up on sports nation...but...because he couldn't catch a ball on the helmet. We can blame it on the fog.

I'm guessing you're talking about the play where he dropped the deep ball into the hands of the Miami defender? Sure, it's foggy and perhaps more difficult to see than usual, but that was still an absolutely hideous play. We were actually damn lucky that Miami did nothing with that because they could've put the game away on the ensuing drive.

Of course, the Schilz interception that set up the win for Miami rivaled it for sucky play of the night. That was probably one of the worst passes under 10 yards I've ever seen.

Colin Cowherd is a dolt.

Think about it...would the QB throw the ball right to the defender?

The receiver ran the wrong route...like he has done 3 or 4 times this year...costing us many an interception, and this time likely the game.

It is not necessarily a wrong route, but both the QB and WR have a read on what the defense is doing and sometimes they just see different things. That is why they will be much better the more they work together.

When both the coach and the QB take issue with the WR...I think we can surmise that it was the wrong route, or at least the wrong read, by the WR.

It was the wrong route, Jorden was supposed to break inside and never did. Schilz pulled him aside on the sidelines after the play and Jorden's demeanor explained the whole story. I would really, really hope a D-1 QB would not throw that bad of a pass, regardless of what year of school he is in.

I love sports but that program is almost unwatchable: the incessant background noise/screaming, bizarre sound effects, forced pop culture references...it's almost as if they were designing a show to hold the attention of a 3rd grader.

My 3rd grader loves it, and that's the only thing that matters to me. It's still better than him gaming or watching whatever happens to on Nick. Except for SpongeBob of course, he's king.

Ummmm, I'm talking about the interception on our last drive. Jorden was not the intended receiver. It was #8.
