Same here. Haven't been able to hear a thing since the beginning of the 2nd. Was having the same issue with the womens bb game, but that's been fixed.

If this is called a goal it'll be a travesty. Intent to blow the whistle calls the play dead.

This season is a process. The win and noise of the crowd last Friday was a very big part of the process.
This win is big part of the process. The guys are learning to win.

Sweep tomorrow night!

Seems like its been a good friday...RIT announced they are going to replace their 1968, 2100 seat ice arena with new state of the art facility, costing an estimated 30 million.
Pitt is making rumblings about taking their programs to D1 as well.

Well, at least hockey got a W.

To be brutally honest, it's still very hard for me to get fully behind BG hockey, because the program has been so consistently awful ever since I started following them in 2005. That being said this team and coach seem to be playing very hard and getting the most from their talent and ability. We're just a game under .500, which given the schedule we've had certainly isn't a bad place to be. I really, really want to believe that this team can win consistently and do big things, because god willing our university needs that right now after football (and women's bb threw us a nice little curveball tonight too, ugh).

What's impressed me most about this team is the defense and the goaltending. For the longest time it seemed as though our only chance to win games was to simply outscore the other team. We've won a few games already this season by holding teams to 1 goal or less, which is very impressive. If BG can come out with a win or tie/shootout tomorrow, we'll have a lot of momentum for our series against the vaunted Redhawks next week. A couple of wins there and we're probably into the rankings or close to it. It's all right there for the taking if they keep defending well and doing the little things. Penalties are still a big issue though.
