Well, maybe I should clarify. I don't think we're going to sweep Miami, but I do think it's somewhat likely that we can take at least 1 of those games. We beat Miami at home when they were ranked #1 back in 2007-08, and we've already knocked off a highly ranked opponent in Notre Dame this season. Even one win would really be a huge lift to the team, especially considering that they'd be right around .500 after a tough stretch to the start the season. The CCHA games in particular are easier in the 2nd half of the year, as long as BG doesn't fall too far behind .500 they could make a big run at it in January and February.

Last night we tied our total wins for last season. And it's ONLY NOVEMBER!!! This program is headed right where we want it....back to the top!!!! And yeah, before anyone jumps on this, I know we have a ways to go, but the fact that we are seeing the kind of progress we are seing, I'm VERY HAPPY with the direction of the Falcon Hockey program and what Bergeron and his staff are doing with it!!

Tonight is another big challenge for the team. We need to follow a good Friday game with a good, solid Saturday game and not let down.

Lost 5 -1 tonight. Gave up 3 goals in the last six minutes (2 in the last 2 minutes).

Out shot 40 - 17. Not much to say after that...............


Sidenote:

Miami gave up 2 goals in the last four minutes and lost to Alaska 3 - 2. I'm sure they will be ready to play next weekend.

With these bad Saturday efforts it's really starting to look like our conditioning just isn't up to snuff.

Andrew shouldn't be expected to make 40 saves in each of his games.
