BG Women cruise past Creighton 79-53

LP and Pontius combine for 41 with 21 and 20 pts respectively. We really down a tired Creighton with our depth in the 2nd half after a closely contested 1st half. BGSUFalcons24 you can breathe now. We now have home games for I believe the entire month of Nov. with the next game being tomorrow in AA vs Youngstown St. One thing I'll say is I'm really looking forward to seeing Jillian Halfhill play more as her speed really brings our play into a very uptempo pace. I really think she should be the backup over Slagle as she's more of a natural 2 guard.

The depth of our bench will continue to help us throughout the season. That second half we had a 16-0 run over about 7.5 minutes with six players scoring! It was great that everyone had some playing time.
What an impressive stat - 26-29 from the free throw line! Creighton was 7-20.
