Seattle - Hasselbeck (BC - Big East)
Minnesota - Culpepper (UCF - MAC)
Green Bay - Favre (S'Miss - CUSA)
Philly - McNabb (S'Cuse - Big East)

Breakdown of College Conferences with starting QBs going into this years playoffs.

It is obvious that the MAC is the leader in this category. would take our QBs over any other any day. Officially, Culpepper was never in the MAC - but I still count him b/c his team is (was) in the MAC the past few years.

GO MAC!

ESPN was counting UCF as a MAC member because the year Culpepper graudated his team was moving to the MAC. And if the JAGS could have won one more game they could have been in the playoffs rather than Denver. Would have had 4 MAC QBs in the playoffs.

But Culpepper never played in a MAC league game so I wouldn't count him.

True. But probably half his games were against MAC teams so that should count for something.

Yeah, after they jumped to D1A as an indy they were playing tons of MAC teams, so it is one of those close enough type of things.

Now look at this though, only one ACC QB was listed, and that was Vick. They weren't in the ACC until this year, so where are their QBs? Philip Rivers has a chance to be there in a few years.

If Brees keeps playing like he did this year, Rivers will need to be traded to get that chance.

The Big 12 is also no where to be found there.

Or the WAC, Mountain West, and Sun Belt! ;)

Maybe this is some of that east cost media bias!

Seriously though, this is really some great exposure for the league. Now we just have to get Harris as a starter and Omar drafted in the first round. ::Grin::

Chad is going down because the Steelers are impossible to stop right now. Go Pittsburgh. 15-1 and not slowing down. :supz:

No team is impossible to stop come the playoffs. I am a die-hard Steelers fan and always have been and they've lost too many AFC championships at home for me to be overconfident. But anyways...pro football is boring. Go falcons and Go MAC.

Let's not rush to get Omar drafted. I'm hoping for two more years of watching Omar in a BG uniform.

At least 1 MAC QB in the Final 4 of the NFL Playoffs. Either Roethisberger or Pennington. And if you want to count Culpepper, and if they beat Philly, could have 2.

It would be great to see a Culpepper Vs Roethisberger final.

UCF Vs. Miami
