Article in Canton paper about 2011 basketball recruit Desmond Rorie:

I noticed in article Desmond is quoted as saying BG is also recruting his younger brother:

"Rorie said Bowling Green also is looking at his younger brother, 6-5 McKinley junior Da’Vontai Rorie. For now, the Falcons must settle for one Rorie."

Being a Bulldog alum, I have heard good things about the younger Rorie. He got significant minutes as a sophomore last year and is very athletic and aggressive.

I am glad to hear BG is recruiting Stark County again, it seemed like we hit a bit of a dry spell there since Keith McLeod

FYI, Da’Vontai Rorie, the junior at McKinley HS, went for 24 points and 10 rebounds in their opener last night. He is now listed at 6' 6". I hope we ARE recruiting this kid as mentoned by his brother Desmond....
