What's wrong with quoting the Lord in a post game interview? Is that only reserved for church? Not trying to get theological or anything, but that has absolutely nothing to do with the performance of this team.

As a wise man, Paul McCartney or someone who eats really hot peppers once a year, once said, "you haters will be lovers" or something like that...

I'm more than willing to think BG can do better than this heading into a new arena. The last 4 years have been mediocre defined. No energy, enthusiasm, or pride. Now at 1-8, with all of his recruits in the program, I'm willing to think BG Basketball will be better off long term with a different coach. It's one thing to be bad. It's another thing to be this bad, and accept it.

What's wrong is he does it after every single game. It's fine he's a religious man, but many people, including myself, would like to hear why his team is so horrible and what he's planning on doing about it after he keeps getting embarrassed by bad teams or blown out by the good teams. He can save his Lord talk for Sundays in God's house. Instead he's leaving it up to the lord to fix the many, many, many, many and many issues with his team instead of looking at himself and how horrible of a coaching job him and his staff are doing.

I said from day one that this was a horrible hire for BGSU, and although I'm not here to gloat or toot my own horn, I'm very right. And for everyone that is VERY VERY delirious thinking that this team will be fine come MAC play, you got a cold cold reality coming to you my friends. We need to cut Orr now and move on and look forward to a new chapter in BGSU Basketball with the opening of the Stroh next season.

Getting worse as the season goes on...not a good situation. I respect Coach Orr a great deal but we are going nowhere fast. Our shooting % is really poor. Hopefully things turn around soon...

If you believe that Orr is only counting on God to solve the many problems of this team you are the delirious one.

There is zero chance Orr gets fired while we have our current AD. Orr is his hire, and he just signed a contract extension last year. GC has no choice but to stick with him, otherwise GC would be next. Especially with the performance of all his "great hires." Personally, I agree with some others, in that GC isnt the guy for the job anymore. I think Orr deserves an opportunity to turn this thing around, I'm more concerned about our recruiting. We should be loaded with freshman and soph who
can flat play. I think Black is going to be solid, but I'm not real impressed otherwise.

I totally agree that the AD should be under fire as well. Orr has produced 4 of the most boring years in BG men's basketball history. Be good or be interesting. Isn't this boring basketball what we thought we got past when DD moved on? Right now we are bad and painful to watch. Orr should be held accountable for the lack of interest in this program. Next year is a chance to gain a portion of those fans back with a new arena. If this "basketball" is what BG rolls out come next November, it will be the same old same old. Coach Jackson was with Orr through all of his success as a coach. He was the guy who would challenge these players. Watch the bench on Sunday. It's like a high school level of intensity. The student turnout at BG games is amazingly low. I've never heard one attempt from Orr to gain fan support. His personality is laid back and his team is playing like it at 1-8 or 0-8 vs. D1 programs. Laid back is fine when you have talent and leadership on the roster. This team might have talent, but it has zero leadership. The lone senior has had his minutes cut 12 minutes per game and it shows.
