Div. I-AA has uniforms and everything. . . . (sorry for the rib, nothing personal just reminded me of the line from Major League)

Oh Division II also offers athletic scholarships. . . .
No offence taken, but just remember Maine (I-AA) beat Mississippi State at home, Mississippi State beat Florida, AND guess who beat Maine? That's right, Montana.

I guess on Egriz.com they think it is Washington now.

I guess we will have to wait and see who enrolls for spring semester. Are you guys on a semester system too? When does it start?

Jason Washington would make a heck of a lot of sense. He probably knows his playing time would go way down next year with Omar and Turner ahead of him. Washington would continue bouncing around though, but this may be the best opportunity for him.

Van Johnson is a guy I would hate to lose, but he really hasn't appeared in many games at all and could be looking to get some game time at another program.

That's two transfers for Washington in a short period of time, although one was from JC.

I'll say this much, Montana has an AWESOME stadium for a I-AA school!!! I watched one of their games in the I-AA Playoffs, it was really, really nice. I also checked out the huge photo gallery online too. It was recently renovated and it is nicer than a lot of smaller D-I schools, including many in the MAC.

Washington, IMO, would be better suited for I-AA. Although, I would think that the Griz fans would see a significant drop-off in passing production from Craig Ochs.

Washington is more capable with his legs, but never caught anyone's imagination with his arm.

Montana is a good program... comparable to Delaware, except they win more.

I think they could walk into the WAC and do almost as well as Marshall or Boise State has. But they've got a good situation. They seem to make money. Not many WAC programs can say that.

Thanks for the kind words about the Montana Football program.

Anyone hear anything lately as to which QB is coming. I have heard it is a done deal.

I saw Van on Friday picking up his books at the union. I guess he could still transfer but it would have made more sense to get out of here asap and get to Montana.

Griz nation learned tonight that it is indeed Washington. He has enrolled at the University of Montana for Spring semester.

Good luck next season.....

Good luck to him...would have been nice to have another experienced QB on the roster, but as long as Turner and Jacobs are here, we was going to be #3.

Hope he takes you guys to the 1AA title.

I don't think Thurman transferred, I think he flunked out. No idea about Norris.
