Will be getting off work a little early since the Colts have an away game. Going to head down south to watch our ladies play WKU in BG, KY. This game is going to be harder than what many think. WKU is 15-1 all time against the MAC. They beat a very good 5-1 Kent team on Tuesday.
We cannot fall behind early like we did against the Aces in our season opening road loss. I think this game will be a close game in the first half and then we pull away. Hoping to see Lauren continue her amazing streak.

BG - WKU
Re: BG - WKU
LP appears to have a slight limp her in pregame warm ups. Anyone know if she re injured her ankle?
Re: BG - WKU
BG 35. WKU 28 at the half. LP with 9 pts and 2 for 2 from the line. Her last ft almost rimmed out. 3 more ft's to set a new Div 1 record.
Go Falcons.

BG down 3 with under 5 min remaining. BG has not attempted a FT at all this second half.

I noticed that. Fouls are 8-3 in the second half...not watching or listening, but that seems strange.

I can't hardly follow the game with the WBGU announcers.
Last year they were decent.
This year . . . ?? Wow!

BG wins 72-68. Tracy 24, Lauren 18...hit all of her free throws.

Re: BG - WKU
Yeah, I didn't get to follow this one all that closely, but they were saying it was going to be a battle going in, and certainly WKU is a decent squad that will probably do well once conference play begins. Last year BG probably would've lost this game, we've certainly gotten a lot better at making plays to win games down the stretch.
And of course, the free throw shooting is just awesome. A huge congratulations to Lauren Prochaska for breaking the NCAA record for most free throws made in a row. 67 straight is just incredible. I consider myself to be pretty good at FTs, but even in my competitive days I never made it past 10 or so. 67 is mind-blowing. There's a reason they call her "The Princess of Plain City" folks.

Close but a win is a win! Take it and move on to Austin Peay Saturday. Congrats Lauren on the new NCAA record!!! She is the best FT shooter I've ever seen...men or women on any level.
