I just thought it was a really classy thing for him to do... that and he probably just wanted a closer look at my jacket.

Classy
After the game yesterday, Coach Dakich came over and thanked the Alumni Athletic band for being there...he said it was great to have a band playing again after a stretch of games w/o.
I just thought it was a really classy thing for him to do... that and he probably just wanted a closer look at my jacket.

I saw that, but on his way back to the locker room, it looked like he bumped into Freddy and uttered a few choice words... did anyone... well yeah never mind haha
It seems ot me that coach D has been "in love" with BG even more than usual this season. Post game radio he thanked the City Workers for clearing the snow so quickly and also for preparing for the John Kerry visit (?) so well. He has always been a cheerleader for the city and the way of life and it is great when he can do things like that because you know he wouldn't take the time to address these things if he didn't mean it.
As for the Alumni Band- you guys sounded great and played with some great energy. I love me some Alice Cooper, but I must have missed Satisfaction- two great staples from the late 80s/early 90s pep bands. .. Great Job!!!

I though this thread was going to talk about Randy Moss and how classy a guy he is.

For my two cents, I thought that was hilarious. If people dogged me the way they do Moss, I would probably do the same thing!ZiggyZoomba wrote:transfer2BGSU wrote:OOPS! My bad.

I think Coach is preparing a campaign to run for mayor. I think he wants Wooster to be four lanes all the way to Main and a Target next door to Meijer.

I thought it was pretty funny myself. Classless? Maybe. But it was still hilarious. I've defended Randy on a number of occasions, but publicly questioning his HC this past week didn't sit well with me. Especially considering the number of times that Tice has defended Randy to the media. He had the opportunity to do the same, and chose not to. That wasn't cool at all.UK Peregrine Fan wrote:I thought it was funny also. But I was more concerned with how he fit all of that hair into his helmet.
His hair is out of control...I'm more of a fan of the dreadlocks, but that is one monster 'fro.

That is how I feel, if the fans are going put up signs ripping on him they can only expect there to be some retaliation. And it's funny anyway.Warthog wrote:For my two cents, I thought that was hilarious. Doesn't make it right, but Dungy tried to put Moss's celebration in context.
Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy said he saw Moss' action and, "I thought it was kind of humorous."
"It's not the kind of thing you want to see on national TV, but I understand what it was all about," he said.
"Anyone who has played in the NFC Central knows what that's about. The fans in Green Bay have a tradition in the parking lot after the game where they moon the visiting team's bus," he said. "It's kind of a unique sendoff."
"I had seen it seven times because when I was with the Bucs, we lost to them seven times up there," he said.

If anyone is intersted, this thread just went non sequitur.
That was pretty cool, Grant. Larranaga never did that. Fran Vol did after a tourney game if memory serves.
What jacket were you wearing, Grant?

He shot DAGGERS at you when he came out to the court.... I've watched the tape of that game for years and it all made sense to me when I learned you are the one who caught Headbangin Heathcoat's attention. . .ZiggyZoomba wrote:Jud Heathcoat did though, LOL... Also, if you have a tape of that game too, be sure to look for future falcon Jay Larranaga sitting in Joe Bair's Lair. . .
