FIU was founded by BG grad Charles Perry (fieldhouse guy), Doyt served as AD/golf coach when they got started.

Any easier? :)

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Somewhere I've heard the saying, "Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies even closer". Well, at this time I couldn't feel any closer to those Rocket fans out there. It definately sucks to lose a bowl game in the last seconds. Maybe even as much as to lose by 60.

At the end of the day, :finga: I hope the MAC can get one more bowl win this bowl season. ...Oh crap, root for Miami!!??... :vom:

I thought it was a really fun game to watch. Gutsy call by Beckman to go for two. That play on fourth and 17 was unreal. I still don't know if they actually got it. One thing is for sure, Toledo has some athletes, and will be pretty good for the next few years.

I was naturally cheering for FIU. Even better was walking into the office, my fancy new BGSU hat and jacket on, past the entire UT football team loading onto their charter buses this morning. An unexpected bonus.

It's really quite comical how the annointed one is now persona non grata, all in the span of one half of football :)

Yeah, seeing the BGSU gear probably really depressed them. Or maybe cheered them up come to think of it. Reminded them of better times, I suppose. Thanks for that, man. ;)
