As you look at the drawings on bgsufalcons.com, look at the first level, and recognize that the west quarter is the only bleachers, and that is all that has been mentioned as student seating- that is not one half of the first floor allocation of seats.

I thought it was an amusing...if not somewhat endearing faux pas. Kind of like Brett Butler's then 4 year old kid hitting him in the nuts with a batted ball.

I pretty specifically remember GC saying that the University would preserve the sideline seating for students in the Stroh Center. Unfortunately, the Ask the AD archive doesn't go back far enough for either of us to be proven right, so I'll drop the point. Regardless of what may or may not have been promised, I'm still disappointed in the Athletic Department for pushing the students off the sideline and into the end. Even the "one quarter" thing is disappointing, as the student section on the sideline has traditionally been hell on opposing teams, even if we haven't seen it in a few years.

Where did the idea come from that students were being moved from the sidelines to behind the baskets? From the Athletic Department or did you jump on the words of Funkmaster Flash?

Go back and LISTEN to what was said on the video.

The lower bowl will be some bleacher seating. Student section. Which is right over there against that wall as well.

So based upon the video clip, the students will be on the south side of the lower bowl (sideline) AND on the west side (behind the basket).

Common sense tells you that they cannot fit 944 seats in the lower bowl BEHIND the west basket.

Thank you for the hint of common sense- exactly my point. Have you seen a document that shows where it will be located? I am sorry, but what think you heard is not what I heard in the video. Do you think they want the students next to club seats?
