Did I just read this correctly "The Falcons battered Ohio with seven thunderous dunks, jumping out to an early lead and never trailing in the second half."
Seven dunks? That's gotta be close to a record.

Pictures are located in the gallery... It was pretty impressive! As I said in an earlier post, if all Men's Basketball games were that exciting, then I've been missing out...

Calhoun threw down a couple as well, including a sweet Alley-Oop where Crawford tossed it up from just over mid court (and Oglesby might have thrown that one down as well had Calhoun not been there).transfer2BGSU wrote:Crawford to Oglesby.Hdog wrote:Did I just read this correctly "The Falcons battered Ohio with seven thunderous dunks, jumping out to an early lead and never trailing in the second half."

Scott Thomas also had a transition throw down...that one was awesome because you could almost see that he was going to lay it up then said, "Screw it, I'm getting in on this dunkfest".
It was freaking awesome to watch. This team finally has some athleticism...enough that we had 3 players dunk in the same game (has been a LONG time since that's happened). On top of that Crawford & Oglesby bring a TON of energy to the game and the rest of the team really feeds off them.
And I know some people may not like it, but I freaking LOVED Oglesby's attitude last night. Staring folks down after he blocked their shots...shouting and whooping it up with the student section as he ran back on defense. The kid is just electric, and the more he dunks the more the team is feeding off him.
Last night was the most fun in Anderson Arena in quite some time...so fun, that I'm still enjoying it just thinking back on it now. This team is really starting to take strides, and it's fun as hell to watch them grow up.

Torian Oglesby... is. a. beast. HOWEVER... (and I love Todd Walker) I hate when Todd Walker calls him TO. Maybe that's what Torian likes to be called... but I think Torian Oglesby is an awesome name! Use it!

I always thought it was a shame to break Florentino Valencia down to "Tino" too. I googled him once and got about a hundred Italian chefs ahead of the first hoops reference. Torian Oglesby is a fine monicker.

Re: The Air Show
Hammb's post nailed it. I wish I could have seen this throwdown session but had to work. A totally different team than what we saw at kent State. I am so stoked to get over to the JAR Sat night...Zippy has owned BG the last 5 years and struggling at 1-3 MAC. This could be a BiG statement game for BG and really get them rolling.hammb wrote:Calhoun threw down a couple as well, including a sweet Alley-Oop where Crawford tossed it up from just over mid court (and Oglesby might have thrown that one down as well had Calhoun not been there).transfer2BGSU wrote:Crawford to Oglesby.Hdog wrote:Did I just read this correctly "The Falcons battered Ohio with seven thunderous dunks, jumping out to an early lead and never trailing in the second half."

I know that Orr calls him T.O. and assume the team does as well, FWIW. As an aside, I would not like Todd Walker's game call no matter what moniker he comes up with for Oglesby.
