Stan Joplin may be fired????

Post by Anonymous »

I just got done talking to a good friend of mine, Erica Lebrossia, who works with the trainers at UT, and word around campus is that Stan will not be back next year, possibly even if they win the MACC. I guess their AD is not in favor of Stan and supposedly that is why they are not performing as well this year because no one knows their job status.

I asked her how confident she was Stan would not be back, and she said about 100% because she was worried a new coach would hire new training staff, then the university told her not to worry, that the trainers are part of the university and supplied to the coach, not the other way around.

So it may be good bye Stan. So lets pack the house on the 22nd and give him one last whipping in AA

Norm & Mark on 1470 were discussing this last Thursday. A couple of the callers were outright calling for his head right now.

Norm & Mark were, of course, defending him, but it sounds like the UT fanbase is ready for a new coach.

If Norm says he's back, he's gone.

After listening to about 5 minutes of his coaches show last night on WSPD I though to myself that Stan has just plain lost it. He was still rambling on that if they just had split with EMU and UB on the road that their season would be ok.

He just acts like there are no problems and that they will just be ok after they get through this stretch of games. He shows very little concern for the program and his job apparently if he thinks they can just turn it on at any time and win on the road in the MAC. We all realize how difficult that is in this league.

I think after we whip the Rockets next Saturday that we should give Stan a going away present. We could do one of two things.

Anderson Animals and the Sideline Squad could mean the team as the leave the arena.

Or

All the fans could hand over their FREE FRIES coupons to Stan the Man, because he may need to save up his money and may not be able to afford french fries anymore.

Doesn't McDonalds give employees discounts though? :P

I believe McDonalds does give their employees discounts, but Stan works at Burger King. I went through the BK on Secor a few weeks ago and I swear I saw him flipping those Burgers in those purple shirts and paper hats
