Larry Nance at Green HS last night...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Yeah, the son of the Cavaliers great Larry Nance plays for Richfield Revere and played at Green last night. Nance is a big, lanky kid and can run the floor very well. He had two thunderous dunks that helped Revere get past the Bulldogs, 58-46. :x Larry Nance was in the crowd, which as a Cavs fan, was cool. He is always friendly to people asking for autographs and pics. His kid is a player...Division 1 for sure.

So did you have a BGSU shirt on and tell him what a great school you graduated from? And maybe mention that the Men's BB program just got a major donation that will elevate their program considerably?????
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I didn't want the NCAA sniffing around our house again for offering to buy his kid a hot dog.  I remember Larry brought his daughter to BG for a game when she was looking at colleges. I think she ended up going to Dayton.

Didn't Nance win the NBA's first slam dunk contest? Someone once called him the Ayatollah of Slamola. A pretty cool nickname, but it never really stuck.

Does he still have a racing team?
