Looking GREAT! Love the brown as well, G. The video footage is amazing...this is gonna be such a sweet place for BGSU and fans! Can't wait to go to a game there.

BTW, tonight I watched Akron at NIU on STO and the NIU Convocation Center looked totally empty. I checked the capacity of that building and it's around 10,000. The box score I checked said attendance was an arena bursting SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY ONE....771.

No doubt BGSU did the right thing making the Stroh capacity (at least to start) 5,000.

I think STO messed up going to NIU. They were in Toledo on Tuesday for the BG - UT game. They should have stayed in the area and came down to BG and broadcasted the BG - UT women's game.

All of our home women's games are on BCSN unless broadcasted as MAC game of the week. I was just saying they should have chosen this rivalry game as the game of the week.

IMO this building looks better than all the pre-construction renderings.... WAY better ....

I can remember my first impression was more "shiny chrome box", but now that we are seeing it built, the outside colors on the Stroh are more toned down and the design comes together and looks first class. Also, the arena space is much brighter than the drawings portrayed which looks even more fantastic.

FWIW that panoramic photo the Sentinel Tribune had in the article is SWEET and is now my PC's wallpaper

I hope another panoramic shot is taken when the building is completely done, and possibly one at "tip off" of the first game. I would pay for one like that and frame it!
