Interesting in that the linked article, only part of which you can read without a membership, indicates that he's told W.Ky. about his decision.... did they possibly get BG, Ohio and BG, Ky. mixed up this time? Or have we possibly lost one of the 1st 4 kids and got this kid as a "replacement"? Remember, our UT friend indicated that we had now a "soft verbal" from one of the Fla. DB's. It'll be interesting to see what comes of this...Haven't the time now to check out the recruiting sites to see how they list him.

The introduction to that article reads, in part, "He'd visited there over a month ago". That seems to be a reference to his visit to BG in Dec.

Gotta love it...we're getting our linemen from Ohio, IL and PA and our speed guys from FL. It's a textbook strategy...

Here's some film on Turner...I like what I see...he'll stick you but he also shows the ability to wrap guys up in the open field. Nothing more frustrating tahn seeing DB's trying to rely on impact only to make a play. Seems to have pretty good speed too...he outruns people who have an angle on him on those INT returns.

Thanks for the link to Utube....looks like he plays more safety than corner from the film...size is OK for a MAC safety...if the other kids are more "true corners", this should work out well... just for the heck of it, I checked to see if he was listed on the WKU verbals and he wasn't there...so hopefully, he will be Ohio bound.

Recruits are supposed to inform other schools that have offered them when they make a decision. Whether that's an actual rule, or just common practice/etiquette, I'm not sure, but I took that line to mean that he had informed WKU of his verbal to BG.
