Scott Thomas-
People are so fast to talk bad when things are rough but when the tides turn those same people gonna be the ones who are front row cheerin like they believed in you the whole time. So when our season turns around and were playin in March for a title i want everyone who doubted us watchin. Remember its not where you start its where u finish and i guarentee thats gonna be at the top

I have been debating putting this on the board for a while now, and I'm not sure if anyone else had seen this or posted it a while ago. I feel like the time is right to put it up now if it hasn't already been up. Scott put this as his status all the way back in December when the times weren't the greatest for this team. It is amazing to see how far this team has come this season. They went from people shaking their heads at them to now dropping their jaws and applauding. I hope that Scott won't be upset with me sharing this with the board.

I thought more of you should be able to see this, because it shows that they were determined to right the ship when the day was the darkest at the beginning of the season.

Some of us here have never doubted... this season has been one of the most fun in recent memory. (and even not-so-recent memory!!)

Throw in the fact that this is the last season in Anderson Arena and there is no doubt in my mind this has been the most fun I've had with BG basketball since '02 at least.

This team is fun to watch, it's got talent, and we're getting to watch them all grow up and come together. It's really been a great ride so far, and I'm pretty excited about where this ride will go. I remember mentioning in some of those earlier games that at times it was some of the worst basketball I had seen, as bad or worse than it has been during some of our recent bad years. But through it all those that attended the games have mostly been in agreement: This team was talented, they just needed to hit some shots, gain some confidence, and start playing as a group. I love seeing that the leader of the team was able to stay positive through that early rough stretch, and I think everybody has to be happy with the steps this group has taken.

For the first time in years, I find myself leaving Anderson Arena and anxiously looking up when the next home game is; I cannot wait to get back and watch this team play.

And even though Dabney is a senior on this team that played extremely well on Saturday the only true senior with significant playing time is JoJak. This team, as it continues to grow, should be even better next year. Looking forward to the last month or so in AA. As I mentioned in earlier post if we can win our remaining home games and steal another on the road this team could easily finish 11-5 or 12-4 and win the MAC east. And we have all 3 teams whom we are tied with (Kent, Buffalo and Ball State) all coming on AA. And the game to close out the regular season and AA could very well determine the MAC east champ!
