I'd better still have the tape of that game... if not, you suppose you could dupe it for me?? I'll check my "archives" and then I'll check with my mom and see if it might be there. I remember my tape started to wear out right where Kirk Whiteman throws the lob to Joe Moore... I think I've replayed that a million times!!Dayons_Den wrote:He shot DAGGERS at you when he came out to the court.... I've watched the tape of that game for years and it all made sense to me when I learned you are the one who caught Headbangin Heathcoat's attention. . .ZiggyZoomba wrote:Jud Heathcoat did though, LOL... Well, wait.. maybe he wasn't THANKING us per se... hehehe
Also, if you have a tape of that game too, be sure to look for future falcon Jay Larranaga sitting in Joe Bair's Lair. . .

I remember the game. That was the game after which Jud said he was never going to play another MAC team. Bwaahahhahaha!
I was not there, but you were a hit with Jay Jackson. Would you mind refreshing the memory?

You know, I really don't remember WHAT it was that got under his skin... I was yelling stuff at him... it could have been any number of things.Rightupinthere wrote:I remember the game. That was the game after which Jud said he was never going to play another MAC team. Bwaahahhahaha!

I know how Dakich always addresses the crowd on the radio, and sometimes goes over to the student section after the game, but I would like coach D to do this.
Save 1 on the 30 second timeouts and use it with like 30 seconds left in the game. Then he should pull a move Whoopie did on the movie Eddie. Coah Dakich should then take the mic from the PA announcer and personally thank the crowd for attending and supporting the team. To me that would really make the crowd feel appreciated and make them want to come back, that along with free fries.

I could definitely copy that tape for you or even let you borrow it to put it to DVD or something. That Whiteman to Moore lob, I LOVE THAT PLAY it is like a 3/4 court alley oop and JAM goes up so high he could have grabbed a dime off the top of the backboard.ZiggyZoomba wrote:I'd better still have the tape of that game... if not, you suppose you could dupe it for me?? The younger BG fans may remember Antonio's dunks or a Stacey dunk but Joe Moore dunks were things of beauty. (Derek Kizer's weren't far behind)

I'm probably going to take you up on that offer, b/c I don't have the tape at home... I still have to check my mom's house... But I'm guessing it's long gone.Dayons_Den wrote:I could definitely copy that tape for you or even let you borrow it to put it to DVD or something.
