Game Thread: Bowling Green vs. #16 Western Michigan
Re: Game Thread: Bowling Green vs. #16 Western Michigan
I think the boys can pull out the win tonight! Hammond was absolutely on FIRE last night, he had one save in the OT where all you could see was his glove flash, and the light go green. None of us could even see the puck! The boys didn't seem the least bit intimidated at Lawson, and if they keep their energy up today, I can definitely see them pulling out a W.

If Hammond starts tonight and has another great game, Have we seen the last of Eno?
As good as Hammond is playing, hate to see a senior who stuck with us in troubled times end his last month watching a sophomore.

I agree its gotta be tough for Eno, but Hammond has been playing well and seems to deserve to be the number one goalie. Hammond has been the better goalie for most of the season, from the games that I have seen.
Regardless, its a team sport...so hopefully we can get more shots this game and with strong goal tending win the game.
Go BG!

Even though I'm watching the video feed, I'm listening to the radio feed since Everett has Joe Borenstein on with him. Joe was the radio broadcaster for the '84 National Championship game!!! Very neat to listen to what he has to say! What a blast from the past it is when he talks about the players on that team!!
GO FALCONS!!
BEAT THE BRONCOS!!

BEAT THE BRONCOS!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
