Apparently, Houston Nutt rescinded a scholarship offer from a young man who committed to Ole Miss in August. (If true) Stay classy Houston.

Re: Do we have any scholarships left?
This is unfortunate for this kid and any athlete.
Greg Christopher was at our Indy chapter meeting last week. He was talking about our recruiting class for football. He stated that BG does not offer more scholarships than what they have. He stated that some schools do this and it helps them get a higher recruiting grade even though they know the players may never play for them.
It was reassuring to hear BG does things the right way.

It seems as if the SEC is "notorious" for this "over-signing"... Haven't looked at all the schools, but thought Alabama, for one, had 27 or so... I'll have to look again.
OK, it WAS'NT Bama; it was Arkansas with THIRTY signees.... (Can you say "gray shirt"?) Also Georgia had 26, and Miss. had 27....didn't check out all, but Fla., Auburn etc. were under the 25 "limit"...at least this year.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
