I could have been a contender

Post by birdman »

Gentleman we are in hell right now. One inch not enough and you don;t make it, one step to slow and you you just miss it. The inch"s we need are all around use. The inch's we need are everywhere and if we are going to see the light, We need to pull together as a team or we shell die. We need players who are willing to go that inch; to die for that inch to put it all on the line and fight our way out of hell.

That is the speech from Any Given Sunday....pretty good movie. Birdman knows a little more than some people give him credit for. He's got some inside info.

Drago; Thank You for the kind words. I just want BG to be a winner. If I have to talk sh-t so be it. Next time I hear a coach rip a 18 year old who makes nothing compared to the time involved and put his heart and sole into the falcon program I'm calling Urban Myers back to take over the program and lead us to the promise land. Thank You from a student who would like BG to be a contender. Coach the buck stops at at the Sebo Center not in front of the camera :D

I like to play a game where I guess what birdman said by using the comments left by other posters. He is much more entertaining that way.

Birdman: So you can call Urban up and have him return? Okay, lower the gas prices while you're at it. You say you want the program to be a winner? Everyone on this board wants that. You are not reinventing the wheel here dude. As far as the coach ripping into an 18 year old athlete....That's his job. I seriously doubt it was without reason. And if you supposedly know more than the average person, or have this great insider information, lets see some credentials!! So, put up or shut up! Roll Along.

Takeoff: Man think out side the box. It's his job to rip 18 year old in the media. Maybe look look for another job, this isn't working. Come to think of it I haven't used the word dude since we won at home. Dude are you like 10 years old. You might be one of my classmates. I sit in the front of MR Rodgers class, so I can see the board. WE'LL get together at recess. My real name is duddett :supz:

Peregrine: In one of your post I think I recall you being a girl. If You have a hard time reading my post maybe try a cookbook. We could us your bake goods as a fundraiser. Step up to the plate and go knit a sweater. leave football to the men. Also I recall you know some football player, stop cooking for them. That maybe the whole problem :vom:

Birdman, or I'll just call you BM for short. Did I strike a nerve? Seriously though, what are your credentials? Did you not make the team? You rip on the new coaching staff. Give me something to go off here. No one likes seeing the program with a sub-par record. There's things I don't agree with that happened this year. When I see the coach, I'll talk to him about it. And I promise, I won't use 'dude' anymore! I'm not here to upset you. :---) But if you could use some good grammer, it'd go along way! Roll Along
