ways of the spread
Three days ago I posted what I thought BG football could do better, no one responded so that tells me your post are as bad as the football team and you know nothing on the subject. Just keep posting how bad my grammar is ect ect ect, Just remember your team was one of the worst in BG history and your a part of it. you had your chance to talk football so all you geeks with 3000 post get a life and keep wishing you could be part of something special. You must all be coach;s they don't have any questions either You had your chance and you blew it THE BIRDMAN IS BACK

Funny thing, and maybe I need some help on this guys.... I thought I had the birdman on my foes list...but he keeps "popping up" with his inane comments... Did I do something wrong?

Re: ways of the spread
Friendly reminder, since not just one but now two posters who are on many many ignore lists are around. To add people to your foes list, do the following:
Click User Control Panel (top left corner of this page below the Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.com logo)
Click Friends & Foes (left side of the page)
Click Manage Foes (left side of the page)
Under Add new foes, click Find a member (left of the big text box)
In the pop up window, find your user. I suggest searching by user name. You will get a list of usernames containing whatever you searched for.
Click the check box in the row of whatever user you wish to ignore from here on out (farthest right column)
Click Select marked (bottom of the page). The window will close.
Back on the user control panel page, your new foe is now in the big text box. Click submit (below the big text box)
And of course click Yes on the next page to confirm ignoring this poster
From here on out, you never see posts by this user as long as you are logged in.
That being said .... do not quote users who everybody else is ignoring! There's only one user who I ignore, and I added him on my ignore list the first day this option was available. I don't have to see his illogical, pointless, irritating messages which he posts just to piss people off while pretending to be a BG alum and therefore part of the BG community. If somebody else quotes that poster, I can see that poster's quoted text. That is annoying to me and to everybody else who ignores this screaming attention-needy child. So please ... don't quote posters who have the reputation of being on everybody's ignore list.
Have a great Saturday.

Thanks Mark,
To be honest, I thought I'd done that, but I may have missed a step...have to recheck my procedures as I'm AM more than a bit annoyed by his stupid posts.

Re: ways of the spread
It'd be kind of funny if bman started writing all these well thought out posts with a logical flow and grammar at least good enough to follow what he was trying to say. With everyne ignoring him...we'd have no idea.

How in the world would we know who everyone else is ignoring?
Re: ways of the spread
I don't ignore Birdman. I do ignore one guy. And I choose not to call anybody out by name. However, you can probably figure out who he is. He is a massive Ohio State fan, massive BG hater, and he posts nothing of use ever. He just posts junk to piss people off. He's never once contributed in a real way to a conversation. I've noticed that since the ignore feature came around, everybody used it on him, and he has for the most part disappeared. Unfortunately he's shown his face again recently, but with the ignore feature, we can carry on conversations without any input from him. He's just attention needy and with the ignore button, he no longer gets attention.Globetrotter wrote:Who is the second one? I am so curious.

Is that enough? For your own good, I suggest ignoring this poster, and definitely do NOT quote him. That makes the ignore feature useless.
