Marketing survey
The marketing folks have sent a survey to, apparently, all season ticket holders. I made a point of highlighting the need for more porta johns and dumpsters outside the stadium for tailgaters.
I also told them they need to work on the variety and quality of the concessions.
What else can we add?

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

The 3 different cheerleading squads and dance team aren't enough?
And with this, I'm no longer an egg!

Along with a better food selection how about
1. Adding vendors within the stadium. Last year I think I saw a popcorn / carmel corn vendor once during the game at the Marshall game. Have kids volunteer to do the games. They get in free, see part of the game, and maybe the university could tip them a little bit or give them free tickets to an upcoming game for their help.
2. Also have more 50/50 ticket sellers in the stands.
3. More parking for the handicapped
4. More porta-potties, as already mentioned
5. At least 2 ATMs. One on each side. Heck if the school would charge a 1.00 surcharge they will make money in no time to pay for the machine.
6. They may already do this now, but how about Redemption of City Bucks for Food at the games.
Just a few thoughts.

I think they need to hear about things that may improve attendance, too. Examples:
1. More enthusiastic announcer that will say "first down"
2. Some type of sign/posters announcing the next game
3. Some type of promotion, like a t-shirt give away to a select number of folks or throw mini-BG footballs/helmets into the stands
Bottom line...Marketing needs to put all of their energy into promoting the games.

How about lowering the price of parking, or include it in the ticket price.
And this is a must!!!!!!!!!!!
Have more ticket booths on both sides of the stadiums!!!!! We only have 4 booths to purchase tickets at. Another suggestion I have is on gamedays, as you pull into the stadium off of Wooster we should use that Drive-Up Information Center as another form to sell, GA tickets. It is there, someone is always in it, now lets utilize it.

Many people go out to eat after the games. Some would like to go out to eat but simply cant afford it because they spend to much at the games.
Maybe the Marketing Dept. and local restaraunts (Panera Bread, BW-3, Frickers, and Myles Pizza) can team up and give Falcon fans, or anyone for that matter, like a 20% discount if they show their ticket stub. I would go to Frickers after the game if I could save a few bucks. If the restaraunts cut back 20% on the total sale amount, but increase business the days of the games by 30 - 40% they still make a profit. Or if they didnt want to discount a certain amount they could offer free soft drinks after the game (within a resonable time period or free appetizers)

If you are not, just be a real fan and get there to tailgate early enough so the money takers aren't out yet. I think I only had to pay the minimal fee 2 of the 5 games this season and one of those times was because I had to leave the lot to go get something. . .

I use to be a manager at McDonalds in Findlay many many years ago (10 plus years) and I gave out free drinks after every Findlay high school game. If Findlay won, I gave out Free Drinks PLUS 20% discount off meal. It costs like 15 cents to provide a drink with a refill and we charged a dollar, so we really did not lose that much.
I think on game nights we gave out almost 300.00 in discounts, but during that time frame made about 1500.00 in sales. People would still come regardless but we really increased business.
Why not put the business back in BG rather outsiders driving back to Toledo, Findlay, Perrysburg.
