Observation

Post by Rollo83 »

Sitting on my couch today, I had the option of watching the men’s team battle Miami or the women’s team take on Kent State, at basically the same time. I am still amazed that I watched the women’s game as my primary game and did periodic check-ins on the men’s game. My how times have changed! The only women’s game I watched as a student was when they played a double header before the men’s game and I got there early to get a good seat for the men’s game.

The success of the women’s program has something to do with my decision today. The fact the women’s needed a win to clinch the East Division was probably another factor.

Just wondered if anyone else had the same thing happen to them?

Rollo. I will go one step further. Being in Indy I could have made the short drive to Oxford or the 4 plus hour drive back to BG. I chose the women's game. Glad I did. I don't like missing many games epsecially when the men was playing much closer.

Now I am sitting at B-Dubs watching the BYU-SDS game. I will tell you what, this is a great game for the MWC. They may get 4 teams in the dance. If they can do it why can't the MAC
