I am simply in awe that we won this game. The two things we were pretty much unable to do this season was win 2nd games of doubleheaders, and play strong in the 3rd period. Well not only did we do both of THOSE things extremely well the last two days, but we took it up a notch, winning the THIRD game of a PLAYOFF tripleheader, and playing strong through the 3rd period, OVERTIME, and DOUBLE OVERTIME before scoring the walk-off goal to send all the NMU fans home totally shattered and heartbroken.

Can't even believe the words that I am typing right now. Bring on the Wolverines! YOU'RE NEXT scUM!!

And we have now doubled our win total for last season. :supz:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Despite the lack of wins in the second half of the season I thought we were playing a lot better hockey in the 2nd semester. I think we're starting to see the systems work that Berg has installed and seeing it work gives the guys confidence.

Next weekend is going to be one helluva test but anything can happen in the playoffs.

Good find! Thanks!!

I was just wondering if the university had video of the winning goal to post, but they're probably still lugging back from the UP about now. ROLL ALONG! \:D/

Its up on the hockey page along with interviews with Berg and a couple players. There's no sound with their video though.

I love how if you listen real carefully you can hear Everett's call in the background of the video provided with the highlights

I heard that too. "GOAL!!!! Bryce Williamson buries it home off the rebound..." After that it's kind of choppy, but what a great moment!

Glad I could see that considering I was busy reading. And MusicMan doing laundry. Guess I will have to take a book with me up to Yost.

I wonder if I could take a couple extra shirts up to Yost and continually fold them during Friday's game...

All three nights were that way. Saturday had the most, but Friday and Sunday had a LOT of people disguised as seats!!! Few more students showed up on Sunday that came back from spring break.
