Down 3-0 after 2. It might take a miracle the way UM is playing, but finish strong!

Final 4-1

Classy act by Bergeron to put Eno in so he could play in his last collegiate game!

THANK YOU, SENIORS for giving us four years and for staying with Falcon Hockey when others did not!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I believe we will look VERY different next year! I have no doubt that there will be a few players who will either not return by their choice or by the coaching staff's choice. And as much as I am really sad that this season is over, I am very excited and can't wait for next season!!!

Once again, I want to thank Nick Eno, Wade Finegan, Andrew Krelove, and David Solway for sticking by the program when so many did not. You guys will be always remembered as the leaders of the team that started the turn around!

+1,000,000!!!!! It is great to be able to call these guys "true Falcons." They stuck to the program during some of its worst years. Thank you so much to you guys! =D> =D>

It was a lot of fun to see you play!! Best of luck in all your future endeavors!

Has anyone heard about JST after Saturday night's game? He took the 4 minute double minor, and then after the penalty expired he skated towards the bench but then next thing I know he was skating towards the dressing room doors. The officials didn't announce a misconduct or DQ, so I can only assume this was a coaches decision after his questionable hit. Any knowledge?

The guys put forward a good effort Saturday night, but Michigan was clearly the better team. I am also a believer that the series win over NMU is a turning point for this program. I'm looking forward to next season! Roll Along!

As soon as he got out of the penalty box Bergeron pointed to the exit door. Bergeron doesn't tolerate stupid, selfish penalties.

That's impressive. A coach who doesn't tolerate stupid stuff earns the respect of players and fans alike.

I just wanted to make a quick note since its the end of the season and the end of the UofM series. I was really impressed with the way these guys battled against NMU and, yes, even UofM. I agree that NMU was definitely the turning point for the program and its great to see the win total increase. Bring Back the Glory brought me back as a fan and a season ticket holder. Living in Michigan made it difficult to attend every game, but when I did it was a great experience. As I get ready to move overseas for my job, I plan on replacing my seats with as many donated tickets as I can for each game.

The seniors that stuck around, the new coaches, the past alums, and you all in this blog, have really inspired me in regards to our program at BG. Let me just stress what an incredible group of seniors we have, and who in my opinion are the foundation of what is the rebirth of this program; sticking around after all the nonsense about shutting down the program is huge. I am really excited about the future of this program.

GO Falcons!!! =D>

Alma Mater hear us,
As we praise thy name
Make us worthy sons and daughters
Adding to thy fame.

Time will treat you kindly
Years from now you'll be
Ever dearer in our hearts,
Our University.

From your halls of ivy
To the campus scene,
Chimes ring out with gladness
From our dear Bowling Green.

When all is just a mem'ry
Of the by-gone days,
Hear our hymn dear Alma Mater
As thy name we praise.

Great strides this year but before we get all emotional about beating Northern Michigan they is a lot of work to be done yet. As a fan I'm hungery for more and I want us to get back to the Joe on a regular basis.

Things are looking up for the future and headed in the right direction, but we are not at the levels of Michigan, Miami or Notre Dame. At least not next year, I hope we are but on paper it doesn't look that way......but you still have to play the games.

The radio guys made a big deal of BG out shooting UM in both 3rd periods. There is a big difference how a team plays when the game is close or tied compared to up three goals going into the 3rd. So I would basically throughout that stat out, its kind of like out gaining a team in yards in the 4th quater when your down 30 points.......its meaning less.

Having your leading scoring throwning out by "coaches decision" is very concerning. I applaude coach, how long do you have be around the team before you get on board with the direction of the team. Wow...........
