I think we've been through a couple of Coaches since this BG Grad has been building his resume 60 miles North of BG.

ROCHESTER, Mich. - Greg Kampe likes the temperament of his Oakland Golden Grizzlies basketball team as it prepares for the NCAA men's basketball tournament.
Oakland, 25-9 and champion of the Summit League, is a No. 13 seed. The Golden Grizzlies face No. 4 seed Texas, 27-7, on Friday in Tulsa, Okla. It's the second straight appearance and
third in the last seven years for Oakland in the NCAA tournament.
"The cool part of it is the expectation of doing it now. When the game ended (the Summit League tournament championship game), we were just down there shaking their hands. There was no laying down on the floor, rolling around or anything like that," Kampe said in a telephone interview Monday. Now in his 27th season at Oakland,
Kampe is a former football and basketball player at Bowling Green State University.
"Last year, they (the team) were talking, 'We're going to the Sweet 16. We're going to do this, we're going to do that.' I haven't heard any of that this year," Kampe continued. "It's a quiet confidence. We've played all the big boys."
Kampe loaded his preseason schedule with some backbreaking games for a mid-major.
Oakland played seven teams which made the tournament, including five from the Big Ten along with West Virginia and Tennessee. Oakland won 89-82 at Tennessee in mid-December.
"We've been in many of those games. We could have won, did win, or blew it down the stretch," Kampe said. "There is a confidence that we can play with anybody and they're doing it the right way. They are keeping their mouths shut and just getting ready to play."
It was surprising that Texas fell to a No. 4 seed.
"Three weeks ago, they were No. 1 in the country," Kampe said about Texas. "We were really in shock that they slipped all the way down to a four seed. I couldn't get too excited when I saw that.
"But the reality of it is, if it's Louisville, if it's Wisconsin, it's all same. Big-time program. Big-time names. We have to go beat them. And we'll prepare as if we can."
Keith Benson, a 6-foot-11 fifth-year senior, leads the Golden Grizzlies averaging 18.0 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. A projected first-round pick in the National Basketball Association draft, Benson was the Summit League player and defensive player of the year. He had 19 double-doubles this season and blocked 124 shots.
Other top performers for Oakland are: Reggie Hamilton, a 5-11 redshirt junior, 17.4 ppg with 80 3-pointers and 182 assists; Will Hudson, a 6-9 senior, 12.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game; Travis Bader, a 6-4 redshirt freshman, 10.5 ppg with 92 3-pointers; and Larry Wright, a 6-2 redshirt senior, 9.8 ppg with 99 assists.
Oakland averages 85.6 ppg with 23 games of 80 points or more, including seven games scoring 100 points or more.
