I'm heading down...and I would expect at least 3,000 BG fans to be there. As for the Ga Tech coach? Absolutely look past BG. :)

GT fans are overlooking us, as well. They're all pissed about having to face OSU on their home court. They are going to have to get past us in our backyard. I'm pretty sure none of them have any idea how we travel...

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Oh, I was talking to one of my friends who goes to OSU last night, they are on spring break next week - hopefully, that takes away a good chunk of fans for Monday's game!

If Oklahoma State fans were looking past us despite not being favored, then that's just dumb on their part. After all, we were seeded #7 and they were #10. It's much easier to see why fans of a #5 would look past a #12, but in all honesty, I think people should realize that in a knockout, single-elimination tournament, anything can happen. 13's beat 4's, 14's beat 3's, heck sometimes 15's even beat 2's. Bottom line, we've had success in the tournament before, and the MAC as a conference has done very well the past 4-5 years.

To be honest, I think we're going to beat Georgia Tech. They have size, but that's all. If we're getting open and hitting shots from the perimeter, they won't be able to keep up because of their lack of interior scoring. Unless they are bombing from 3-pt land also, it will come down to shooting % on the offensive end, and defensive rebounding on the other end.

I would be all over this trip, but the wife and I are bringing a newborn home from the hospital tomorrow, so it's not going to happen. The game will be on either ESPN2 or 3, or at least the ocho, so I'll still be able to cheer us on. I would expect fan support similar to what we had in East Lansing.

Any non WB fans, do yourself a favor and head down to Columbus. The two games we won in East Lansing were second only to the Gameday win over NIU as far as viewing experiences. Don't miss it if you can help it.

GT looks like they are a pretty good team, but not a terrible matchup for us. If the threes fall, I really like our chances.

It is difficult to find analysis of the women's tournament in comparison to the break downs of each men's game. But the proprietors of this site seem to be high on the Falcons....advancing to the Sweet 16. So let it be written so let it be done.

Cathy, Jane and I are headed down to Cbus on Friday, working on being AM people. Just talked to a guy in the OSU ticket office, he's expecting a loooooooooooong line at will call. 8-) He said tickets would be available 90 minutes to an hour before tip-off. Somebody should have checked on how we travel for this team.

Ok women we're playing at 11:20 am morning it's a good time to win
leaves rest of day for other things :)

Bring it :!:

Hey, BGSU folks.. you got a Tech fan paying a visit. I'm trying to learn more about your team before Saturday. A quick glance at some of your stats and I've learned that Lauren Prochaska is the obvious player to keep an eye on. I see you start 4 seniors and you can shoot some 3's. What else should I know about BGSU? What do you want to know about Tech?
