Just got an email announcing that Mary Ellen Mazey, Provost and VP of Auburn U. has been named new Pres. of BGSU, effective, I believe, as of July 1. =D>

Not a bad pick, and she is taller than Cartwright.

Now can she swing a home-and-home with Auburn?

Auburn may not want to play us. If you remember, the year we played Oklahoma we were originally scheduled to play Auburn. Krebs cut the Auburn game for the OK money and Auburn had to replace us with a I-AA school thus hurting their SOS.

They went undefeated that year and the BC$ did not let them play for the National Championship. Some of their fans were complaining about BG screwing them out of the National Championship.

Well with accusations against Auburn, and even Oregon with possible academic fraud and recruiting violations and the mess at OSU, heck just give the 2011 National Championship to TCU.

IMO, I think TCU could have beaten any one of those teams on a neutral field last season.
