Re: NCAA Tournament
So the "Big (L)East" had ELEVEN TEAMS in the tournament out of 64 (not counting the "1st round" teams)... and they have.... TWO left in sweet 16..... but KSU wasn't "good enough" with a ONE point loss in the MAC championship game to still get a bid... and they've only knocked off two home teams in the NIT... I know the MAC has been known as a "1 bid league", with some justification.... but I'm still upset that the "big time" conferences lock up so many at large bids... all you need to do is see how many "mid-majors" are still around... and this is NOT the 1st time it's happened.

Re: NCAA Tournament
VCU's run is amazing...what a win tonight over Fla State. Too bad the Buckeyes went down to Kentucky. I had them losing in next round to UNC.

I don't see anything wrong with the Buckeyes losing to UK tonight.Falconfreak90 wrote:VCU's run is amazing...what a win tonight over Fla State. Too bad the Buckeyes went down to Kentucky. I had them losing in next round to UNC.

Re: NCAA Tournament
My osu buddy says that VCU should've been no where near the NCAA tourney. How did they get in as the 4th team out of the CAA? That conference has really jumped up in recent years and maybe the best next to MVC. I'm guessing wins over UCLA and USC helped them, but they were apparently terrible per my osu buddy.

I'd politely inform your "OSU Buddy" that he's an idiot. Then ask him to name a sport in which OSU isn't owned by the SEC.

Re: NCAA Tournament
Has your "osu buddy" noticed how far VCU has gone in the tournament yet? Knocking off teams from the PAC10, ACC, Big 12, and (gasp!) the Big 10-11-12 "ain't too shabby" for a team that didn't belong.Falconboy wrote:My osu buddy says that VCU should've been no where near the NCAA tourney. Hey, and now VCU is in the Final Four!
Two mid majors and two bigs, this is crazy. I think Both Butler and VCU would have a chance to win it all in the National Championship!
