Would love to see EMU and ut battle it out in the quarterfinals. It is GREAT for the MAC...and this year, MAC women's hoops has been stronger than I can ever remember. Of course if EMU and ut do play each other, I'll have to root for EMU...ya know, the whole Bird of Prey relation. But they gotta beat Syracuse tonight to get there.

And EMU was 0-2 vs ut this year....could be a GREAT story if the Eagle can win tonight.

Didn't know EMUs were birds of prey. If EMU wins tonight I like our chances of a Final Four game at Savage.

I'm thinking he means regular season-I'm pulling for the EMUs for two reasons- MAC affiliation and revenge! Won't happen though.

Yep, EMU got us. So did NIU and CMU. Those out of state schools were tough-we pretty much handled the Ohio schools whether at Savage or on the road... Fortunately there were enough weaker schools we beat on the road to make us MAC champs. It won't be as easy next year-lots of up and comers in the MAC!

Anyways, UT will play the Orange of Syracuse. UT upset a team dressed in orange earlier this year. Maybe they can do it again??? Win the whole WNIT and you can then claim yourself as the #65 best team

64th best at least. We beat one of the first round losers on their home court which would make a strong statement that we should be ranked ahead of them. Don't remember any upsets by UT this year though.

Apparently we like to play against orange teams. Syracuse was awfully good and we were down a starter and a key (lately) reserve but Naama did her thing and we move on to the Final Four (WNIT version) at Savage on Wednesday.

Congrats on the OT win over Syracuse...it's great the WNIT Final Four has 3 "Mid Majors". I despise ut as much as anyone but I'm pulling for them to win it all.
