Hmmm, let me guess. How about no one. Thats his problem. He does not get on players or focus on the areas that need improvement (and we have much to focus on). Clawson is a nice guy, perhaps too nice.birdman wrote:fledgling: My cousins out of prison and is looking forward seeing you play the trombone. Thank You for the nice remark. Ya the spelling thing is coming back and this semesters GPA should be a solid 1.2. Everything is falling in place. That's good news about the spring game. The coach,s post game will be interesting? Who will he hang out to dry?

How many different monikors is birdman going to make? Is it possible to block an IP address or is that nearly impossible? Either way, I say birdman gets the ban. His rants are pushing everything off topic and he's seaping into all of our brains. Me cannt take much moore of hims posts.

IGNORE birdman instead of responding to him and he will eventually go the way of Tekekini and some of the other bozos that have posted here. But every time some birdbrain says he should be banned means he got you and he is going to stick around even longer.

Yes. With the forum software, you can block a user or you can block an IP address.VDub26Falcon wrote:Is it possible to block an IP address or is that nearly impossible?

Oh BTW ... any announcement yet on if it will be streaming via B2Live (or whatever its called)? That was really convenient for me last year. It was carried on local TV and streamed online, so I got to watch the spring game. Awaiting word on if they're doing that again or not ...

I recall seeing a tweet indicating that they're streaming it online

I've run and moderated several sites. You can block ip addresses until you're blue in the face and it makes no difference. It's too easy to use a proxy or just slide over to the next machine in the lab. Blocking a user name is a joke. Banning doesn't work. It's also not Grant's way of handling things. Has anyone ever been banned from this site? Not that I can remember. If so, it's extremely rare. It's not going to happen because it's not the answer. If you don't like his posts, block and/or ignore him. I, for one, am far more annoyed by the ppl whining about him than I ever have been by anything he says.

I think people get too worked up over this kind of stuff. Sure, birdman gets annoying sometimes...but he also occasionally articulates a POV that's worth responding to. Most of his criticisms are based on the wacky notion that Dave Clawson isn't qualified while Tim Beckman is running some kind of football nirvana in Toledo...but, I think that's a general POV that a number of people share around here.

Depends on the weather for me, if it is nice the boards may come out of the garage. My kids usually request Mr. Spots so no cooking will be going on.takeoffeh wrote:I was just wondering if anyone was tail gating. The wife and I are coming for the spring game and I'd like to meet some of you guys.

I am going to bring my son and a couple of friends to the spring game for his birthday. Can anyone let me know how long it lasts? Are there concession stands open? I am trying to plan our evening, especially with an hour drive each way.

I haven't made it to the spring game in the last couple years, but they never used to have the concession stands open for it. Maybe somebody who has been there more recently could let you know if that's changed, but if I were you I think I'd plan on eating before you get there.
The spring game was always pretty low key. You could bring drinks and whatnot in as long as you didn't try to just carry a 12 pack into your seats
