BG and OU will tussle for two tomorrow starting at noon.

BG and OU locked in a pitchers' dual in Game 1 of the DH. Cody Apthorpe has given up no runs and 1 hit thru 4 and the hit was aloowed to the very first batter of the game. The OU pitcher, Streich has matched him giving up 1 hit in 3 innings (game going to the bottom of the 4th now) and no runs.

* Edit* Just as I posted this and brought up the audio, OU hit a solo HR. Dang, that sux!! OU scored two more and leads 3-0 as they head to the bottom of the 5th. OU announcer just said OU hasn't beaten BG in the regular season since 2007 (not sure why the OU feed is on the BG site).

This Streich kid from OU is doing a number on the BG hitters today. After 7 innings, OU leads 5-0. Streich has 8 SO's and the Falcons have left 10 runners on base. UGH.

OU wins Game 1, 5-2.

Gotta get the next two.

Very costly two losses in a DH to Ohio today. Ohio had won only 3 MAC games coming in and hadn't won a MAC series this year and swept BG in a DH. The two losses drop us all the way into a tie with WMU for 8th place. We must salvage the series on Sunday. If BG doesn't make the MAC Tournament this year, this DH defeat could have a lot to do with it. So much for building some stream with a win over Ohio State.

Dang! Just logged on and found out the Game 2 result. We didn't take advantage of oppotunities. Definitely need to win today. Ugh.

***Falcons win the finale, 6-3. BG now 15-21, 8-7 MAC. BG heads to CMU for a Tuesday game and then another BiG weekend at Miami.
