Yes. He will be graduating form Bowling Green High School shortly.

Re: Chauncey Orr?
Is Coach Orr allowed to give his son a graduation gift or is that a violation of NCAA rules regarding recruiter/recruitee relationships?

CHAUNCEY ORR UDPATE: Orr’s son, Chauncey, still has not made his college decision.
Chauncey was an All-Ohio first-team selection this past season and he ended his career at Bowling Green High School as the school’s all-time leading scorer.
Coach Orr was hesitant to talk about Chauncey because of NCAA regulations against talking about a recruit before that player has signed a national letter of intent.
“The reality of it is, being a parent trumps a coach. I will talk about him, but I will not go into detail,” coach Orr said. “I’d love for him to come to Bowling Green and I think this is a place he is seriously looking at. I know he could be a good player for us.”
Coach Orr said Chauncey, a four-year starter for the Bobcats, got better each year during his high school career and for his last two years he was very consistent in his level of play.
“The college experience is not just basketball, it’s everything,” coach Orr said. “The dynamic of him playing for me, I have never been his coach ... I’ve just been his Dad.
“No coach knows him better than I do and he doesn’t know any other coach better than he knows me,” he continued. “If he wants to come to BG I will be really excited.”

He's probably not going to sign with BG. He'll be eligible for free tuition through his father, therefore (as a "walk-on") they may have a extra scholarship to use. I'm willing to bet that is why nothing has been heard.

I'm curious. Is Trey Zeigler on a tuition waiver?
