TOLEDO GAME SOLD OUT!!!!

Post by ZiggyZoomba »

Falcon Fan,

If you haven't got your tickets for the BGSU/UT men's basketball game
on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. make sure to stop by a BGSU athletic
ticket outlet today. As of 9 a.m. this morning, only 150 reserved and
less than 200 general admission tickets remain for the game. The
athletic ticket office is anticipating that allotment to be gone by as
soon as the end of today. BGSU tickets can be purchased at Anderson
Arena, the Bowen-Thompson Student Union and the BGSU on Main store
location.

The Falcon basketball teams is off to a 4-0 start in the Mid American
Conference and taking on the Rockets in a the annual rivalry game.
Make sure to get your tickets for the big game today!

Tickets can also be purchased by phone at 877-BGSUTICKET or online at
BGSUFalcons.com.

Go Falcons!

I love it!!!!! One of my friends just ordered 8 tickets. Did he order them from the Bowling Green AD. Nope. He ordered them for UT ticket office. Although BG lost some ticket revenue, 8 BGSU fans will be sitting in the Toledo Rocket fans adjacent to the Rockets bench, normally where the players parents sit. I love it. I know 5 of the people going and they could put the Anderson Animals and Sideline Squad to shame. It will be pretty interesting to see what goes on in that section. This is one way to really piss off the Rocket fans. Nothing they can do either. They got a ticket for that seat. I love it!!!!

I purchased reserved seats the other night. I usually get GA, but when you are talking about a sell out, I would rather have my seat "saved" since I won't be able to get there until at least 5:00.

FWIW, I think this buzz about the UT game being a sell out should generate more interest in the Western game. At least I hope so. There is no reason that we shouldn't have 4,000 in AA on Saturday.

For those students lurking around here, I inquired at the women's game last night and we will need to get a ticket starting tuesday. They are still free, but like the MACC game two Decembers ago, we will need to show an ID to get a ticket in advance. Pain in the butt, I know, but we still get to see BG vs. the Dildos for free!

I know for sure I'll be waiting for the doors to open at 9am on Tuesday with the student ID in hand!

Chances are you have that same class again Thursday at 9am and then the next Tuesday at 9am...maybe you should just not go! BG basketball is definitely better than a 9am class the 2nd week of school!!

This is what the students had to do for EVERY hockey game years ago!! Hmmm, wonder when they will have to start doing that again?!?!? :D

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Myself and a few others are going to be braving the cold tonight and staying up outside Anderson all night. We have a little grill and will be making some burgers and breakfast burritos for sure! I guess I'm too excited for this game!!!!!

I was a little dissappointed when I went at 9:05 to collect my ticket for the game. No line, no people telling passers by to come and pick up a ticket and not to forget about the game. I wonder if holding 1400 tickets for students was too many?

I hope the students can show me wrong and I know since I will be at this game they will be a little bit louder than the WMU game (Broncs fans sounded louder than our fans on the internet broadcast. . . )
