So, no Michigan on the road and no Miami at home, fair trade. I like the OOC schedule too, UConn and Canisius have had good programs in the past.

"Uconn and Canisius have had good programs in the past"....

Uh, not really. Uconn, Canisius, and Huntsville are all bottom ten teams in the rpi on a consistent basis...I would guess they are on the schedule to try and inflate the win total similar to last year. It's nice to have the wins, but playing those teams isn't going to get you into the NCAA tourney unless you play really well in the CCHA. Hammond better be resting up this summer, because he's going to see a lot of rubber come fall.

I'm liking the o$u series in early Jan and UM in Feb around my BD. Just told the Freaklings we'll have to go up on the 24th and stay the night, then go to the game on the 25th. ;0)

+1 :supz:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Would Bemidji State be making a return trip the following year 2012-2013?

I sure hope so since home games are going to be at a premium, since the Big Ten schools won't be making road trips to smaller schools like BG.

Michigan at home is one of the best games there are, and Miami at home one of the worst. It's a great schedule imho.

After golf take the Nasa tour. Very impressive.
The trip is about 10 hours, about the same as NMU.
Stop off in Bowling Green, Ky watch them make Corvettes, it is a religious experiance.
Skate fast
Hit hard
Have fun
