I think John Wagner has East and West mixed up. Not a big deal, but isn't the standing room on the East balcony?

I thought that too. The HOF is facing the bird side, right?

I hadn't read the articles when I posted the links, but yes, Wagner is ass-backward, and he made the mistake multiple times.

I think it is funny that we have a huge "natural light" bank of windows on the one end of the building behind the goal. . . just like Anderson Arena had at one time but that eventually were painted over because of the glare they caused on the court.

Going to make it interesting for team introductions on those Saturday and Sunday afternoons when it is supposed to be pitch-black inside the arena.

One thing good about the windows is they are on the East side of the arena so they're shoudn't be much of a glare once a game starts. The sun should be overhead and beyond for any tipoff time. Also, being on the actual court and shooting into that basketball, the seats will rise up behind it and should look fine. While there shouldn't be a glare, there could be some curious lighting heading towards that basket for an early afternoon game though. I guess they could always invest in some sort of blinds that could be lowered for the top portion of the glass if needed with the $6 million dollars we saved.transfer2BGSU wrote:Dayons_Den wrote:I think it is funny that we have a huge "natural light" bank of windows on the one end of the building behind the goal. . . just like Anderson Arena had at one time but that eventually were painted over because of the glare they caused on the court.
