Not sure if it was audible on television as there were only 17 people at the ballpark but there was quite an "MVP! MVP!" chant going to Asdrubal when he came up in the 8th, and then even more when he hit the double with the go-ahead run.

Chris Perez needs to figure out how to consistently get left handed hitters out, and pronto. The edge of my seat is eroding. Great atmosphere last night. Every time a "Here we go Red Sox" chant started, there were plenty of "Let's go Tribe!" to put them down quickly. I think the city is finally letting their guard down a bit. Of course, that surely means something disasterous (sp?) is about to happen. I'm just glad we're surviving the Grady and Hafner absences.

Fausto and Beckett go at it tonight so we should see another great pitching matchup as Fausto does fine against anyone not named the White Sox. Mitch Talbot supposedly coming off the DL tomorrow which I assume will send Josh (the Judge) Judy back to Columbus or maybe Valbuena will go back down. It's hard to keep up with the Tribe's 25 man roster right now!

With Peralta, I think we sometimes forget that he is only 28 years old. He will be 29 on Saturday.

I know I lost tracked of all the moves too, but Valbueana went back down when Ezekial Carbanara was brought up on Friday.

I starting watching the game today at noon...and the BoSox teed off for batting practice. It was over after half an inning. Ugh.

How did the Browns score a safety if they're locked out?

Court ruled against the lockout, I thought. After Papi's long TD reception the Brown's D really stiffened and Cabrera dropped Lester for a safety in the fifth inning.

Well, the month of May was not as nice to the Indians as April but they finished above the .500 mark at 14-12 to up the overall record to 32-20. The Tribe is 5 games ahead of the Tigers in the standings after Detroit won on a sac fly against Minnesota last night. One more game against Toronto and then a 7 game homestand against the Rangers (4) and Twins (3). June is going to be a tough month for the Tribe as they play the Yanks, Tigers, Giants and D-Backs. I never thought I'd be worried about playing the Diamond Backs. They are raking. No time for a June Swoon! Start it off right with a "W" to finish the "turf" portion of our season!

Another loss to the streaking twins tonight!

And the Tigers up a seven spot early on the Rangers with 4 homers in 3 innings.

Are the Indians trying to be the Cavs? No reason to duplicate that losing streak!

Reversion to the mean. With a long season, it happens in baseball moreso than any other sport. If someone had offered us 33 wins on June 6 before the season started, we'd have signed up in a minute.

Fifteen wins a month is a good season, they exceeded that in April/May, let's hope for 10 in June, and go from there.
