I guess I was wrong in my predicitions saying Montgomery would have a big game! 0-1 and 3 minutes of playing time...
He did have a good game. Not once did he look like a lost little boy who has never seen a basketball. Baby Steps man :)

And I said Reimold would launch a half court trey at the buzzer to win, 68-65. At least EMU's point total was only 2 off.

GREAT win....BEAT WMU!!!

Combined with only 1 turnover in 34 minutes.

And defensively, I think he held his own against their quick point guard. There were times where he was loose in the lane, but it didn't happen all night. Floyd's eligibility this year allowing Stevie Wright to move to the wing has been a huge factor in this start.

I understand the points about Floyd not being quite there, and there's no doubt, he can still improve quite a bit, but he is giving this team what it needs to win--he's giving other players enough so they can succeed--and in a team game, there's nothing wrong with that.

This Team Is Getting It Done!

Post by BGSU99 »

I am becoming more and more impressed with this team. They seem to play well together and are winning games with good defense for the most part. I can't wait to get to AA on the 22nd for that Toledo game! I am thrilled with this team so far!
