Jacob Bennett, a 6'6" 275 lbs OT rising senior out of Lebanon High School, committed to BG yesterday according to the Dayton Daily News. Don't really know anything else about him but here is the link. You have to scroll down just a bit to get to the story.

I'm assuming that this is our 1st "verbal".... seems as if we're continuing to recruit SW Ohio heavily....wasn't last years 1st verbal also a lineman from that area?

Looks like we have our number one QB target committed. James Knapke Ft Wayne IN Bishop Luers is listed as a commit on rivals site and others. BG has really been with him all the way and he has spent a lot of time with our team and coaches. This guy put up some real numbers in a very good program and is a pro style 6'3".
