I have heard that we have a game with Colorado State also. Curt mentioned it in his fireside chat he had back in May. I have seen from another source that this game will be December 31, 2011 at Colorado State. It would be the same trip as the game at Wyoming. That leaves 1 more game to be announced, as we tradtionally play 13 non-conference games. This schedule looks really good. Most are solid teams with Dayton and Purdue being excellent teams. It will be a challenge for sure for the young team we will be in 2011-2012. I am looking forward to the upcoming season. Go Falcons!!

Not yet. Perhaps that means we are trying to get UConn, Notre Dame, Tenn, and Stanford to come to our place...;)

After the WNIT wins, I suspect Toledo will be joining the club with BG: mid-majors who are so successful that they cannot GET big-time programs to commit to games, especially to home games. Those big programs simply can't afford to lose. Curt Miller has mentioned many times over the last few years that scheduling home games with big programs is exceedingly difficult. After all, look what happened to Vanderbilt when they visited The House That Roars. Makes me wonder what it took to bring in Purdue.

But in all sincerity, I hope Toledo can bring in some tough schools; strength of schedule only helps the MAC make a stance for getting a second NCAA tournament bid.

Welcome to the board, ccolin13! And I'm digging your profile pic.... 8-)

I'm rather excited for this season.... can't WAIT to see Rogers play. Now I just have to figure out if I can get to BG for the Purdue game...

Thanks JG  I too am pumped to see Rogers play. She's really going to add a lot to this program. Curt has mentioned that she could play as many as three positions. While I've never seen her play, she seems to be that explosive power forward type that BG really hasn't had for a while. If she's as fun to watch as Tara Breske, it's going to be a great season!

Toledo OOC

nov 27 Arkansas St
dec 1 IONA
dec 4 COLORADO ST
dec 8 GREEN BAY
dec 10 CLEVELAND ST

Very solid home games with Dayton, Green Bay, and Marquette. At Green Bay could be a huge tourney resume game

One of the AD's for CSU is a Falcon. He might have been involved.

I'm thinking a certain women's basketball head coach who is a former CSU assistant coach was responsible for this one.
